Core Offering of EKOL

EKOL – a company group of high flexibility and a topic level of development, founded in 1991, currently has attained a level at which it can provide the clients with comprehensive services in power engineering, starting from the design, construction, manufacture, erection and commissioning of complete power units with power outputs of up to 100 MW, in a combination that meets the specific expectations of the customers. This fact offered the company group the option of tuning up the parameters of the respective technology entities to the top level, by making EKOL one of the leading edge European manufacturers and suppliers of power engineering equipment.

Main Activities of EKOL, spol. s r.o. as a Supplier

Steam turbines

Of power output ranging from 1 to 70 MW, and the speed of 3 000 to 20 000 min-1. The turbines are of condensing, backpressure and steam-extraction type. EKOL offers the manufacture, overhaul, revisions, upgrading and re-construction of the turbines in line with customer specific requirements. Spare parts manufacture and delivery are considered a matter of fact.

Gas turbines

Of power output of up to 80 MW, designed and delivered to be operated in single and combined cycle; over-haul, revisions, upgrading, reconstruc-tions to meet the environmental requirements. Manufacture and delive-ries of spare parts.

Steam boilers and boiler houses

Comprehensive deliveries of steam, hot-water and warm-water boiler houses powered by high grade liquid and gazeous fuels, technological gases, brown and black coals, wood chips, straw and biomass. Environmentally acceptable and non-polluting boilers using the waste heat.

Comprehensive power-energy systems and assemblies

Once EKOL, spol. s r.o. has been extended with the Division of Boilers and Boiler Houses, and after completing the design department with a power system design team made it   possible to EKOL to offer comprehensive services in power engineering, i.e. the deliveries of turnkey units for the generation of heat and power (CHP).

Machine diagnostics

Diagnostics of rotating machines, measurement and analysis of vibrations, assessment of the state of devices, proposals for solution of the problems identified, operational balancing.

Manufacture and assembly

These works are carried through by daughter company EKOL energo s.r.o. Advanced manufacturing and technological equipment is adequate to meet the needs of steam and gas turbine manufacturing and assembly processes. A part of the production capacity is available to meet the outsourcing manufacturing needs of business partners. Another capacities are made available for the assembly, servicing and repairs with the clients.
